My brother and I road-tripped to Glacier National Park and stopped in Palouse for a night. I enjoyed it more than Glacier. Already planning my next visit.

Went there 2ish years ago with my family. It was such a beautiful site to see. We had a picnic & just laid under the trees. Wonderful time spent there, would like to go back again.

Yeah it's like 5 hours away. Too far for a day trip, I'd have to stay overnight somewhere.

What direction are you coming from? Tri-Cities is about an hour and a half west. Clarkston about the same distance east. Other little towns closer but I dont think they have hotels.

To be technical, this is below Palouse Falls but not the falls itself. Palouse River canyon.

In case anyone clicks in and actually wanted to see the falls:

Lewis and Clark State Park has a nice camp ground just outside of Dayton. Not as bad if you make that your jumping pad.
