I very recently visited the park and learned that Kaziranga has dedicated “Special rhino protection force” that specialise in tracking down poachers and bringing down the nexus that controlled the poaching racket.

Apparently China played a huge part in poaching as the rhino’s horn is used in Chinese local medicine.
