That's crazy. I wonder what happened to them during all those years... were they being used as slaves? And imagine going back after 14 years... your kids are teenagers or adults, and maybe your spouse has moved on, etc.
I'm glad they got to go home in the end.

Article says 14 people not years. Some were captures in 2014 and others in 2019.

Ah looks like I’m more tired than I thought! I do recall reading that at least one was gone for eight years, so it’s still quite sad but I’m glad it’s not as bad
