Edit: what's the worst imo is how so many stories posted here and r/nextfuckinglevel are literally just thinly disguised dystopian nightmare articles. Like, "oh thank God the people being forced to forage for trash to survive didn't get crushed at the dump by accident, how heartwarming!"
