Not to dismiss the life they've saved or the risks they took, but I find it very hard to smile about anything regarding Palestine's situation.

How is this uplifting news? The Gaza strip is a literal open air prison. An Israeli military blockade prevents anyone from entering or leaving.

Prison authorities giving prisoners a needed medical treatment for the very first time is not uplifting news, it's their bare minimum duty.

After they get their new kidney they'll still be living in the prison simply for the crime of being Palestinian. Wft is uplifting about that ?
