How is this uplifting news? The Gaza strip is a literal open air prison. An Israeli military blockade prevents anyone from entering or leaving.

Prison authorities giving prisoners a needed medical treatment for the very first time is not uplifting news, it's their bare minimum duty.

After they get their new kidney they'll still be living in the prison simply for the crime of being Palestinian. Wft is uplifting about that ?

That's not true because thousands of Gazans regularly work in Israel (mainly in fields like construction), but I'm not going to defend the blockade.
