Hi! I am looking for dog boarding near Stamford where the dog does not socialize with other dogs all day. My dog is great around other people but very anxious in big groups of dogs. Ideally, they would take the dogs on walk or individual play times instead. I would prefer to avoid private dog sitting at someone’s house or using an app like Rover.

Not sure what vet you use but Bulls Head does provide boarding at reasonable rates

Spot on vet has boarding/day care and they will keep your dog separate if needed.

Pooch hotel is Norwalk is very nice. Each dog has their own room and there is group play sessions during the day but you can tell them your dog doesn’t like them. They will also do individual walks and play.

We use wagmore and just tell them no group for our dog. It’s worked quite well and they’re one of the only places around that will do injectable medicine for our dog too!

Even PetSmart does that, you can ask to keep private play time for your dog
