What an eyesore. Seems like there should be a rule on street side construction coverings.
Edit: I understand this is a very “karen” take, but you could at least spray paint the plywood so it doesn’t look like an abandoned building.

They are gutting the restaurant and rebuilding it completely which is messy work, the windows are likely to be damaged in the process. It only takes a month or two usually. I'm not sure what the alternative is to boarding the windows temporarily while they do the work.

Yeah I get it, but $20 of a dark spray paint would go a long way and it wouldn’t look completely abandoned. If I owned this building I wouldn’t want it to look condemned.

I assure you, the woman that owns that building doesn’t care. She cares about getting that space functioning so she can have a stable tenant and rent.
It’s a construction zone, no one is going to take time out to spray paint plywood when this is how it’s commonly done.
