They are quite literally training with the gods of the universe. They had to fight different universes because they are the strongest beings in the one they reside.

That's my point, they had to train a loooot. While others not as much. And even training with gods, they will always face someone stronger.

Weak in comparison to a few outliers in the entire universe, sure. Weak compared to 99.99% of the rest of the population, not even close.

Yea the amount of time you spend training does not decrease your relative strength. That's like saying students who study more are stupider. If you're the smartest in the class by native ability or by hard work, what difference does it make?

Saiyans get stronger through battle like they get infinitely stronger the more they fight. The training is to make sure they are in shape for any fight.
