I think it would be more accurate to say "You don't see chinese people with down syndrome".

You can know wether or not a child is going to have it or not during the first three months.

Chinese would abort children just for being woman. I don't see why they wouldn't abort down syndrome children as well.

Hope I don't get ban for this, but it's the truth.

According to google: "About eight or nine out of 10 cases of Down syndrome are detected (classified as screen positive). This means that one or two out of 10 pregnancies with Down syndrome are missed (classified as screen negative)."

So, a fair amount are not diagnosed until birth.

You should go there. It isn't a gross generalization.

Based on cultural pressure, lack of public support after birth, and general financial status of the population, it is statistically rare that a known case of down's syndrome is carried ot term in the country of China.
