It started with the corn chips with the mild salsa. Then I kept going hotter and hotter. I couldn't stop myself. Only intesnsive outpatient guac therapy was able to break the cycle.

Which is weird because salsa is so much better than just straight hot sauce.

To me it's the opposite. As a kid I used to toy with extremely hot sauces. A lot. I only found salsas few years ago

I like this analogy because I actually naturally ferment my own hot sauce. If you let it go long enough, it produces enough alcohol to give you a mild buzz if you ingest enough. I have friends who joke about drinking it but I think I might actually take it a step further and distill a batch into liquor.
