The human race will not last long enough for that to happen. We'll all die of cancer from the microplastics in our water, or starvation and war driven by global warming. We've fucked it all to hell and we're too greedy and blissfully ignorant to care.

Wrong. I work in water treatment and metals contaminants from batteries and solar panels will be far more damaging than carbon emissions ever were. We have a lot less water too. Future generations will look back and say “what were they thinking?”
