If you define breakfast as your first meal after waking up, regardless of when you woke up or ate, then you cant by definition. But most people dont define breakfast like that. If you woke up at 16:00 and ate at 21:00 would you call that breakfast? Most people wont

If you define it only as the Breaking of a fast (of some predefined timeframe) ANY Meal could be considered breakfast.

I realize most people won’t because we’ve somehow tied the name to a specific clock-based window, but I really grew to detest having dinner for my breakfast while doing security.

We just gave the "morning meal" the name Breakfast, the noon meal "Lunch" etc.

And what if you either don't eat the entire day, like those on a 24hr fast...or you don't eat anything and take a nap shortly after you wake up?

I think that’s their point.
OP’s point was “every waking” meal. Nowhereman is saying that any meal can be considered the break of a fast. Whether it’s 4, 24, or more hours.
