The local pigeons have divided which lawns belong to whom so every dawn I see the same two pigeons visit (recognisable by irregular coat patterns by their necks)

We have two regular Tuis - chunk and hops.
Guess how we tell them apart

Is it perhaps their throat tufts?
I think at one point I named the pigeons something ridiculous like ‘Montgomery’ and ‘Mr.Smith’ because they look like formally dressed revenue agents coming to investigate my less formal less official chickens

We have a lovely pair of cardinals who visit our feeder daily. And lots of other birds who are probably repeat customers, too.

What kind of equivocation is this and why bother with crappy arguments like this. This is the poor man's "I predict COVID will just go away, someday in the future"

There was a small bird, maybe a swallow, that lived in my back yard. He would follow me around when I mowed the lawn, snatching up all the critters I disturbed.
