Well, I guess if you know the particular sing language they’re using, yeah. There are lot of different sign languages. Don’t know if every country has a different one, though, but there’s definitely a lot of variants out there.

I go to one of the two big deaf college in the us so i forget theres other sign besides asl
Got behind a possible deaf driver the other day, idk what was so important but she was holding up traffic talking ASL to the passenger.
I would disagree. Assuming you understand the sign language, you still have to stare at them to follow the conversation, which is a bit obvious. They're deaf, not blind.

you either mean blind people or don’t realise that not everyone knows sign language, and if they do, they would be intensely staring at the people having the sign language convo
Sign languages share a great deal in common. If you know ASL, you can get by fairly well with another language's sign language and visa versa.
