My boyfriend's birthday is coming..He is a countryman and loves gardening. Any restaurant (ideally farm-to-table) which you have had a good experience?

If he’s a seafood fan, Matunuck Oyster Bar certainly fits, and while it’s busy year round and gets mobbed in the summer, its location makes it a relatively laid back experience this time of year.
If you can convince him on a night in town, New Rivers, Gracie’s and Oberlin in Providence do strive for farm-to-fork dining, and you really can’t go wrong with any of them.
Persimmon on Hope Street in Providence. Delicious, a little pricey.
New Wave Kitchen is insanely good and their sourcing is top notch. Certified organic pork from Wild Harmony Farm, mushrooms from High Tide Mushroom Farm, veggies from Luckyfoot Ranch, eggs from Cedar Valley Farm, kombucha from Fully Rooted, etc. Not insanely expensive, surprisingly.
The chef at Newport Vineyards is also brilliant so that's also a great experience with local sourcing.
And +1 for Matunuck Oyster Bar
Elizabeth’s in CT
Elizabeth Farmhouse in Putnam?
Celestial cafe in RI! Go to tilted barn first if you like beer.
This is my favorite restaurant. It will not disappoint
Matunuk Oyster Bar... Great food, they also grow a lot of their own produce + grow their own oysters...
great spot!
Bayberry Garden
Oyster Club in Mystic is great!
That’s what came to mind for me. Fresh, local, and creative.
I came to recommend this place.
