This is also a great place to break your elbow. I speak from personal experience.

If you break your elbow and immediately try to propose, the answer is gonna be 'no' usually. People make this mistake often, thinking that sympathy over a broken elbow would lead to a 'yes', but most people don't want to spend the rest of their lives with someone who can't admit they suck at roller-skating backwards.

Even the 1/100 sympathy 'yes' usually leads to a short and unfulfilling marriage.

I didn't say it was for a proposal, breaking an elbow can really zhuzh up any number of special occasions

True dat. A broken elbow can ruin all sorts of special occasions....birthdays, bar/bat-mitzvahs, holiday parties, weddings, funerals.

Really, just about an special occasion that isn't a ceremonial elbow-breaking.
