oh lol I would assume so with so many different dialects and what not. I just never had the opportunity or the foresight to take it. it's useful

Spanish is still easier in this aspect compared to others. Even with dialects , %75-80 is still continental Spanish. Major differences I would say the speed when spoken ( mainly with Caribbean speakers ) and native indigenous words introduced, slang, and different meanings of the same word.
Ex. Burrito in Spain is a little Donkey but in Mexico its a food
