So much child rape in the Catholic Church, it’s disgusting. Rethink what you put out there. Figure it out.

Can’t disagree that some people want to lump in all priests in that category and that isn’t fair. There are many good people in the church and Catholicism isn’t a monolith. That being said, the coverup of child sex abuse was institutional, a world-wide problem and spanned decades. People have a right to be upset and feel their trust destroyed and faith shaken. I think all reasonable can agree on that. I’m also in the camp that feels that Bishop Tobin is an asshole and his comments toward the LBGTQ community are petty, disrespectful and untrue. Glad to see him go!

Painting with a pretty broad brush. The child rapists are disgusting and should be thrown in jail. 99% of the priests dedicate their lives to helping others, especially the poor.
