Why does it matter how she got married?
Edit: I have no political affiliation just genuinely curious don’t downvote me for asking questions

Seeing how the GOPs current strategy is photoshopping Seth Magaziner into photos of rich people drinking champagne, it rings hollow that she was able to afford a 6 figure wedding.

It's also the height of hypocrisy for the party that has gone down on the business/1%er communities for decades to be slamming Magaziner for having money. But hypocrisy is one of the few things Republicans have to offer. Treason is another.

I bet McKee is able to as well. I mean he can afford to run for office so. Maybe he doesn’t flaunt it but he’s definitely got it.

I don’t have a problem with people having money. Most people who have the time and resources to run for office probably will. It’s just weird that her campaign calling him out for being rich when she’s not exactly poor.

It doesn't. But did she have the site scrubbed to hide it?

Yea I see this but, if you look at the archived article… there’s nothing wrong except her just spending absurd amounts of money like anyone else would on their wedding day of given the chance. I feel she may have done this to avoid people nitpicking like this and continuing the narrative- she’s just another rich lady with no interest in bettering the state- at least that’s what I’ve heard from SOME in this sub and online.
Or maybe she just didn’t like her wedding being put out there so publicly.
I don’t know just seems like an irrelevant point to me.
edit: if you look at the very first article it also has a tweet reply that says “this isn’t going to be very appealing to working class voters.” That reply is from January 2022. I wonder when they edited this article.

I voted early and voted McKee, but I didn’t automatically write her off because she has an R next to her name or because she had an expensive wedding. Like you, I genuinely have no idea why this would matter or why people would make fun of her for it.
I think some people, particularly those on Reddit, just like to hate on everyone who’s more well off than they are (i.e. almost everyone).
