There are worse places. Its lower on the list than most but I'd take it over Prov or Pawtucket, possibly even Johnston. It really depends on the area. Just about every city and town here has areas that are nice and areas that are not so nice. Just gotta look around. Unfortunately the real estate situation here has not improved very much so the options are limited. Be patient, keep looking if you have time. The only places I'd say absolutely try your hardest to stay away from us Prov and Pawtucket. WW, Warwick, and Johnston aren't bad, but they're not great. Cranston is obviously a good area too, but that's where it starts to get pricey. And then everywhere else expect it to be expensive.

Bottom line: Stay out of Providence and Pawtucket and you'll be fine
