Yep, op just make sure you get the right kind of antenna for where you are. When I lived on the east side a simple indoor antenna did not work amplified or not, and I ended up getting cable again. But i needed an outdoor antenna, when fios got rid of the local only package which is what I had I tried one out and it worked great.

I still use the same one now in east Providence but an indoor one would have worked, just a coxial cable plugged into the TV picks up the locals lol. Plus you also get the Boston stations. And if your house is wired for cable already just disconnect the incoming cable cord and connect the antenna to that and you just need one antenna for the whole house. If you have a lot of TV's get an amplifier to boost the single. I have six TV's running with one $60 antenna and one $20 amp. Although prices will likely be more today.

And I also use sling, my brother and I actually share it he's in Pawtucket and I'm in EP.
