looking for motorcycle parts

Hey there!!

My significant other (SO) bought a bike early this year, but hasnt been able to ride it more than 3 times due to complications with the parts. We've looked all over, and we can't get anything on the market. Riding is his therapy and this whole journey for him has been frustrating and discouraging for him. I'm hoping to find someone on here that can help us, or at lease him, out.

The bike is a 1981 Suzuki GS450, and we need the carburetor for it. Don't look it up. It's discontinued. I've been told by many dealerships and shops that we'd be better off looking for an aftermarket part, and I tried Ebay, Facebook Marketplace, Amazon---nothing.

If anyone in RI or Southern Mass knows where we can buy this part from, PLEASE DM me or leave a comment with a link or something to look up or places to call or go to.

You say you tried eBay, but what did you search for? I just tried "Suzuki gs450 carb" and got some hits.

The exact phrase I looked up there was "1981 suzuki gs450 carburetor" and I got a bunch of parts to a carb but no full carb

The model year may or may not matter. A fan of Suzuki might be able to clarify that. For a 1981 bike, it may be necessary to get the carbs and also a rebuild kit to get them working right. Good luck. Taking care of an old bike calls for patience and dedication.
