This is a long shot but looking for anyone who might have a source for Providence legends The Amazing Royal Crowns Payback Live album. I recently came across my CD copy and was rudely reminded it got cracked at some point and from what I recall is beyond hope for repair. (Evidence Here https://imgur.com/a/tmu6NgY).

I’ve never seen it on the streaming platforms, so if someone has a lead on a bootleg or other version I’m looking for anyway to give it a listen.

The last show is still on Youtube for now, but the way this record hits from Saturday Night, Payback Night, Baby’s Out on Bail is legendary in my head.

Cheers!

No Problem. I buy/sell on discogs too, it's the best way to find exactly what you're looking for, and also to find out currently what some things are worth

By the way, also didn't realize they were featured on Rob Zombie's Halloween Hootenanny compilation that I listen to every year around this time

Many years ago!

Their last show was a reunion and probably their last. I'm so thankful they opened for The Mighty Mighty Bosstones at The Met. It was truly amazing to be part of that day.

You have no idea how much that reunion show meant to me. Those guys were my idols. I started going to see them before they even put out the King of the Joint 7”. I was almost certainly at the PVD payback shows recorded for that live album, and remember their final show at Lupos in Nov 2001 in great detail, including the party at the Biltmore afterwards.

Those were the days. what a great scene PVD had in the 90s…SMH I took it for granted like all young people do.

Well this makes me really happy because I was one of many on the team who organized and hosted that event! My feet were black and blue for days after it because I was standing from probably 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 a.m. dancing and partying with y'all so yeah it was pretty damn special!
