Searching for Cinnamon Rolls (with a catch)

Hello!

I’m looking for a good cinnamon roll in providence area. (Or honestly, anywhere within a ~20 min drive from providence)

The catch is, however, I have a severe nut allergy. To this day, I have never been able to eat baked goods from anywhere labeled a bakery unless they are completely 100% nut free - I inevitably get told that they can’t confirm there hasn’t been cross contamination. And as of yet, all the good cinnamon rolls I hear of are from bakeries - 7 stars, sins, etc.

So: does anyone know a good cinnamon roll done by a restaurant or a diner that doesn’t do too many other baked goods, or might be able to keep them from cross contamination?

Avoid Rhode Island — it’s full of nuts …

Sans Gluten closed. Three Wishes opened in the same spot. They aren’t the same company. However, they are also gluten and nut free. Supposedly, Sans Gluten will be opening in a new location at some point.

It’s a bit more than a 20 minute drive but if you are ever near Millis, Ma., Twist Bakery and Cafe is nut free and has a great cinnamon roll. Well worth the drive IMHO.

The Donut Shack is completely nut free, Nicole is the owner of it. She does farmers markets, and supplies shops in different parts of RI

Three Wishes is gluten, nut, and soy free. They're so talented that I have none of these allergies yet still go there because I haven't had a bad treat yet. The cinnamon rolls are good but you really need to try their churros.

Why not take this as an opportunity to make your own? Seems like it would require the baker to make sure none of the ingredients have been contaminated. That's likely impossible for a bakery.

Zaccagnini's in Pawtucket sometimes has a good one but they sell out quickly and I doubt they can accommodate nut allergies. I'm always on the lookout for a good cinnamon raisin biscuit, similar to what Hardee's sells.

Master Donuts in West Warwick has really great ones... do not know if they are nut free but it's worth asking... its a donut shop not a typical bakery
