It’s a really solid Italian deli! You can find a lot of the products they sell elsewhere, but they do make a lot of really good stuff in house as well. I lived in Federal Hill for years & regret not going there more often.

That stuff is for tourists to eat out by the fountain. You go for cold cuts, cheeses, olives, marinated mushrooms, peppers, anchovies... I could live on an endless charcuterie binge. The fresh ravioli only comes in meat or cheese but is better than the frozen.

No, I do not find the pasta to be particularly remarkable. I’m guessing it must be other foods there that people love. Whenever someone tells me the pasta is from Venda I’m never like overly impressed. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Their specialty sandwiches are huge! Just got one last week with my girlfriend, we ate outside on the patio area while some guy was playing music. I love their antipasto as well.
