I mean of course I am no fan of his, but with all the money the GQP and Kevin McCarthy are pouring in, one would think they could do better. Fung has this attitude like everyone missed him and he is baack. Sounds like Poltergeist not a congressman.

Yeah the ads are pretty lame and shallow going with Newport creamery and local foods especially when he said his favorite breakfast place in Cranston is Panera. Politics aside, He also looks like a real bitch at those trump rallies

All political ads are terrible, IMO. I can't think of a single political ad I've ever seen that has ever inspired an ounce of desire in me to vote for the candidate. I think they hurt more than they help, because people dread political ad season, and the ceaseless repetition of them makes them really intrusive and annoying, which is counterproductive to the intent.

All political ads are terrible. I’m avoiding all local channels except for local news, and when the commercials come on TV, I head to the kitchen.

I think the only good campaign ads have been the ones that are so unhinged and weird that you don't get how the fuck anyone signed off on it from script to air. Sadly, those ones are pretty rare around here.

I think Dan Mckee adds are much worse

Honestly, with a legislature that’s 80% D, that can easily override any executive veto, any R governor is gonna be powerless.

So not really worth getting too exercised about this race either way.

More importantly hopefully the Pats can turn it around.

The ads are terrible. Fung is terrible. His party breaks records for terribleness. But damn, the ads expertly push the "He's one of us (and the other guy is not)" button because that's the only thing they got that is not an unpopular position or flat-out lie.

Not to mention that she has lived here for about 20 minutes, and thinks that POS DeSantis is the ideal politician. She has no shot despite McKee being as unlikeable, and probably corrupt, as he is.

How is that fixed? Uphill Battle he can’t win he is losing with Independent according to the new Providence Journal poll. That right there isn’t good.

True. I'd love to be able to edit her campaign signs. "RI needs a fighter"...sorry whack-job, but RI needs a Rhode Islander as our governor, not some self-entitled twat who thought RI would be her best chance to get elected somewhere.

The only people who are going to vote for the whack-job that moved here just to run for office are the same 35-40% that think Hair Furor is the best president ever. This ain't Alabammy, son.

SHE just moved here. Reading comprehension issues I see. So you are a product of Fung's school system? Little wonder you're so fucking clueless.

I cannot for the life of ne, grasp how tf he EVER gained traction in this state. I've always had an extremely dim view of Cranston on the whole, but his existence as a political entity is all their fault. Not only is your city an ugly, smelly, trash covered shithole, you clowns sold your souls for a fucking tax cut. Loser shit.

All politics aside, he and/or his media manager are completely missing the point with that one ad where they are all in a restaurant with patrons and waitstaff, doing the pro Fung schpeel and at the end they all, on cue, yell out “it’s a wrap”. It’s weirdly cult like with an slightly aggressive flair. My first response was a good laugh, and then fear set in
