Temporary housing with dog

Hi I'm having a major home renovation starting between 5/1 and 6/1 in the northern RI area. We are looking to rent for four months. We have a dog about 40 pounds. If anyone has ideas to help me figure this out I'd really appreciate it. I'm not finding much luck other than places that charge add on fees up to 50% of the rental fee. Our budget is flexible but no higher that 3k a month maximum. We'd like to keep it closer to 2k we don't need a lot of space one bedroom would be adequate.

Check out Airbnb, I looked for you from 5/1-9/1 and there were quite a few options for $2000/month for entire apts/houses

I live in Providence, have a small dog and work seasonally (summer on Block Island) with my boyfriend and we were considering just paying our rent for the summer while we’re away.. but would consider subletting to the right person 😬 so if nothing works out, send me a message! Other than this, I’ve found a bunch of great Facebook groups where people post sublets for the summer (if you search brown university sublets; providence young professional housing; providence creative housing.. Etc) stuff should come up. I haven’t been to college around here in 5ish years but the groups are still pretty open.
