"We're not protesting you having the play, you just can't advertise it" is a weird protest vector that could only occur in 2023.

So a bunch of people got the wrong impression based on the title of a comedy written by a person who's conservative Jewish upbringing and family helped shape the tone.

Yeah, bold move Cotton.

People who haven’t seen the show protesting the sign? Seems like this could have been a conversation.

The group protesting this are a bunch of absolute right-wing clowns. I saw a clip from the protest that said "Anti-Zionism = Anti-Semitism".

So people that are against Netanyahu and his dictatorship are anti-semitic? LOL.

It's in the article as well:

> Protesters were holding banners that read, “Anti-Zionism is Anti-Semitism,”

It's absolutely ridiculous to even suggest that you must agree with a groups political positions otherwise you are racist, anti-Semitic, etc.

My girlfriend was the Assistant Director for this production… according to Tony the Director these guys were not very nice people and were super ignorant about what the show actually was.

This reminds me of the time I had Maus on my bookshelf and someone (a friend's wife) was offended by the spine which had a Swastika on it.
