Are they going to ban social media? If not, I’m not holding my breath…

Social media is driven by community engagement. If the community is sick, so is social media, addressing the communities problems can correct this, banning social media would ultimately change very little if the community that drove it stayed the same.

This will do more for "gun violence" I'm this state than any of the bans the legislature passed last year and is looking to pass this year.

My point is that social media is to blame for much of teenage anxiety and poor MH. From body image issues to the loneliness kids can feel when they see false projections of what social life looks like. DOH isn’t going to solve that.

I wonder if teenagers are more depressed due to social media consumption because they're more aware of what the adults are doing.

Here are a few suggestions to make Rhode island a nicer place (in general)
Stop building houses in already overpopulated towns..
Stop building Dollar Generals for christs sake!
Fix the roads..
Better school system, And Resource Officers (or extra patrols) near ALL SCHOOLS. (including elementary)
Fund the police better, The police in Rhode Island need body cameras, Sights on their firearms, And better radios. They are so fuzzy and staticy..
MORE PARKS. Specifically playgrounds.
Bowling areas, Arcades, Or any other family area.
That's all from me folks

I would have been a far bigger shithead as a teenager armed with the knowledge (instead of suspicion) that the "adults" were mostly fucking stupid.

I'm assuming this will include better and affordable family housing, better paying jobs for adults and illegal families so teens don't have to work on top of going to school, more community events, more funding to schools / teachers / counselors, eliminating food scarcity and desserts, making communities walkable and public transit accessible / free...
I guess I can dream.
