Coming back down when the entire trail is frozen into a bobsled track is a real hoot.

Barely in Lehigh. I grew up close to there. It's just a quick hike in State Game Lands off a dirt road crossing from Heidelberg Twp., Lehigh County to East Penn Two., Carbon County

It's that visible, slightly higher, spot on Blue Mountain between the Lehigh Tunnel and Route 309.

Are the foundations of the old radar tower still visible?

Never knew there were any there. I do know some foundations and active towers exist on the other side of the Lehigh river a couple miles down trail.

That my be what I'm thinking of. It's been 15 years since I've been up there. Memories get fuzzy.
