One time at Slippery Rock University we hiked 55 miles (as a fundraiser for the Invisible Children in Africa) from SRU to downtown Pittsburgh in 3 days, it was brutal!! I look back on it fondly, but I remember how wrecked my body was. I can’t imagine doing 50 miles in one day. Power to them, and best of luck!!
