The memory of their music from their "on hold" waiting queue still drives me nuts. But if you have the time to waste up to two hours, eventually - in my experience from 2012 - someone will answer, and help you out. Unfortunately almost every time someone "helped" me, they did something wrong, and I had to call back later to get it fixed by someone else. The conclusion was inescapable that the system was intentionally designed to be hard to use

Man, I would gladly welcome hold music at this point. I just get a busy signal and then it hangs up on me. And yes, I really do feel as though the system was designed that way. Most systems are. Deter people from receiving help so they have no choice but to go further into debt as interest rates skyrocket, even more when their credit score starts going to shit.

When this happens you gotta be persistent and keep calling in. I work a full time “seasonal” job and get laid off yearly, there’s been plenty of times I’ve had an issue and called the number over 200 times to finally get hold music and wait 2 hours on hold to get to someone. Persistence is the key. Hopefully your rep will get everything sorted out. Best of luck
