My OH driver's license had an M on the back legally allowing me to operate a motorcycle, does PA have this or do I need a separate license?
Or did the DMV fuck up ?

It should have an "m" on the endorsements sections on the back.
It should say 'Class M' on the front of your ID. 'Class C' is just a regular licence without endorsement.
Dang that sucks, hopefully I don't have to do that
I think if you go back with your Ohio license very soon they should be able to correct it!
Look on the front of the license. Where it's at "Class" you should see C (standard license) and M (motorcycle).
Motorcycle is no longer an endorsement. It's a separate Class of license. I know people that only have a Class M.
You right, to OP it should be listed under "class" on the back, I just looked at mine.
I'm a commercial driver and carefully inspect mine every time it renews.
Pretty sure PA takes the old license when you get a new one.
I still have my GA license, they just punch a hole in it. But that was also 15 years ago at this point so maybe they changed it up.
Edit: HAD my GA license. I don’t actually have it now lol
The DMV fucked up I guess. Sweet
Go back to DMV/PennDOT with your Ohio license. They should have asked about the motorcycle endorsement. You may be charged 7 to 10 dollars more for the motorcycle upgrade.
They still punch a hole in the old license.
It seems to vary from state to state. In PA and OH I had my old license taken. In MI they did the hole punch thing.
Got it, thanks. Looks like they are all closed today so I'll head into tomorrow. Thanks for your help
They are closed Monday because they are open on Saturday.

PA has the same, sounds like it was missed by the DMV
