Just a gentile reminder on what kind of "progressive" Larry Krasner is.

> Upon taking office Krasner released Hassan Elliot, earlier jailed for felony illegal gun possession. Later, Hasan violated parole when police caught him trying to sell cocaine, but Krasner released again. That same day, Elliot killed a man. Months later, Elliot murdered Philadelphia police corporal ames O’Connor who trying to apprehend Elliot.

This is not a unique example.

As a Pennsylvanian, welcome. For too long this sub has been dominated by the loony left. This sub does not represent real Pennsylvanians. Say anything even remotely moderate and you get 10 down votes.

Look at all the anti Oz posts trying to cover for Fetterman's disaster last night.

I think it's Democrats that show up at elected officials homes to harass them typically.

Would be risky to do this at John Fetterman's home especially if the protester was an African American.

That incident cannot be discussed here. It's comical they just say "you don't have the full story" and "you don't get it" and then accuse you of being a bot.

What is there to get? The man was jogging just like Ahmad Arbery was.

I can see how someone who isn't concerned with the lives of black people deciding it's a non issue. I think when people acting as law enforcement pull shotguns on innocent people and falsely accuse them of crimes they should face consequences. That's the only way things improve is if people are held accountable.

Fetterman said he didn't do anything wrong, obviously he did. This is just another case of "Fetterman can do no wrong". He's not even healthy enough to be a Senator.

If we found out Fetterman was literally a serial killer, this subreddit would still be backing him.

Yeah…and Arbery was killed in cold blood after being chased down in pickup trucks. The man Fetterman DETAINED was not hurt in the least.

Furthermore, Fetterman was responding to what he thought were gunshots. Not just a black guy jogging through the neighborhood and assuming wrongdoing.

What a crock of useless BS. If they really want to do something, pass gun control laws that prevent anyone with a criminal record from buying not only guns, but ammo as well. Then find a way to raise the minimum wage to current financial standards....$15.25 an hour. They have no solutions only fingers to point at someone to blame. I've got a couple of fingers to flip them. Another pointless GOP bill to do anything but solve a problem. The Philadelphia DA isn't the problem, the lack of solutions is the problem. If the state has no solutions to provide the DA then they should stay in Harrisburg and shut up. The Republicans want someone to blame then they should take a long hard look in a mirror at themselves. It's been falling apart since Reagan in January 1981 and crashed on January 6th 2021. Why was he detained with a shotgun? Are you under the impression that it’s a crime to go for a jog as a black man in this country?

Where any shell casings or evidence of gunfire found? No the Witnessed were interviewed and we learned he was frightened by fireworks for gods sake. There was no gunfire and I’m pretty sure the only one with a gun and causing trouble was FETTERMAN.

Yet here you are smearing a black man and implying he was properly detained with fake information about gunshots that never occurred.

Just gross, you realize it’s 2022, right? Black people should be able to exercise without being harassed by angry white men with shotguns.

Cuz Im calling the police, whether its Ted Cruz or John Fetterman. African Americans should feel safe when they go for a job and not have to deal with the Angry White Man With a Gun (Fetterman). Why do you disagree with that?

This is not a narrative, this is reality. The man was jogging, not committing a crime. There was zero justification to pull a shotgun on the man.

Also, why are you calling me a Trump Humper ? I voted against Donald Trump 4 separate times because I felt that he was a racist and also an unqualified idiot.

Calling into question Fetterman pulling a shotgun on an innocent black jogger makes someone a Trump Humper?

This did not start (or statistically increase) with Krasner, and it won't disappear when he leaves office.

The fact is, people commit crimes. There is no way to prevent them all without locking up every single person. At which point the only difference is that the crimes will happen in prison instead of out.

The notion that Krasner is increasing crime is a pre-baked talking point, a conclusion waiting for facts to back it up, not a result of facts leading to a conclusion.

They are very similar incidents because they both involved racists, black joggers zero provocation or initial crime, and guns.

As I clearly said earlier, thank God Fetterman didn't pull the trigger. That makes it a very different incident but it's also important we hold Fetterman accountable, at least until he apologizes and makes amends and says what he did was wrong.

Idiots aren't exclusive to either party. They both have proven that, however even smart needs help. I try not to waste time on blame. It's too tiring. Instead I look to find solutions. And tge shit you speak of has always been there. We're just seeing more of it by a new generation of knuckleheads. It was there in the 60's. It was there in the 70's and 80's ( remember the crack issue the feds helped create?) the 90's, etc. Locking everyone up might make you feel better, but it's not a solution, it's a temporary fix. The pandemic helped create the muck we have now, so we have to figure out the best solutions. The best isn't always the most popular. It won't work overnight. Larry had an idea, he tried it, but the pandemic created new, unforseen problems. If we don't try new ideas we stagnate. But sometimes they don't work. That's a fact of life. Pointing fingers is pointless. The trickle down ideas of the past forty plus years haven't been working for anyone making less than half a million a year. The middle ground is the only way out. Bridging the gap to get a handle on the problems. Otherwise it will get a handle on all of us and pull us down into the abyss.
