So if you see Ted Cruz pull a shotgun on an unarmed black jogger, with zero provocation or justification, you are telling me that you would not call the police and seek consequences?

Cuz Im calling the police, whether its Ted Cruz or John Fetterman. African Americans should feel safe when they go for a job and not have to deal with the Angry White Man With a Gun (Fetterman). Why do you disagree with that?

This is not a narrative, this is reality. The man was jogging, not committing a crime. There was zero justification to pull a shotgun on the man.

Also, why are you calling me a Trump Humper ? I voted against Donald Trump 4 separate times because I felt that he was a racist and also an unqualified idiot.

Calling into question Fetterman pulling a shotgun on an innocent black jogger makes someone a Trump Humper?

Will you knock it off with these bad faith arguments? We get it. You like to troll. You made your point.

I don't think that sticking up for Black Lives and standing against prejudiced people is a bad faith argument. I recall it being a very big thing before Fetterman was nominated.

You know that’s not what you’re really doing. I know that’s not what you’re really doing. We all know that’s not what you’re really doing.

It's exactly what I am doing. I don't think black joggers should have to put up with angry white people pointing shotguns at them because they assume they are running from a crime. Why exactly is that a controversial statement, aside from the fact that you happen to support a candidate for the Senate that did exactly that?

I dunno. Maybe that singular jogger has stated that Fetterman should be senator? (Source: https://www.inquirer.com/news/senate-john-fetterman-2013-shotgun-black-jogger-confrontation-20210401.html?outputType=amp ) Why don’t you take the opinions of black joggers seriously? Do you not think black joggers are capable of thinking for themselves? Why do you hate black joggers so much?

What did fellow Democrat Connor Lamb have to say about this? He said Fetterman runs the parole board and holds the key to Miyares' release(for an unrelated incident from when Fetterman pulled a gun on him). In that case, even I would endorse him if I thought it would get me out of prison faster lol.

Did you forget about this in the Democratic primary debate?

Lamb would be up 15% and instead you have to defend a racist who can barely function... that's what you are actually upset about, you're not upset with me.

So you put more faith in the word of a white man (lamb) then a black jogger. Why do you hate black joggers?

(This is how ridiculous you sound)

BioJesus555 t1_itxm52o wrote

Even Malcolm Kenyatta called on him to apologize. And don't tell me he endorsed him to, we all know how politics works.

At the end of the day you think it's acceptable to pull shotguns on innocent joggers and I think it's wrong and a crime. Call me crazy.

This is how ridiculous you sound.

So you completely dismiss the thoughts of a black jogger. Got it. Racist.

BioJesus555 t1_itxmkic wrote

You think disagreeing with a black person makes you a racist? Again we know Fetterman runs the parole board.

Man you are really desperate to defend this man's racist actions, you must really hate black joggers to want this man in the Senate.

No. Completely disregarding them because they are black makes you a racist. If concluding that Fetterman stopped him because he was black makes Fetterman a racist, it’s easy to conclude that you disregarding their opinion because they’re black makes you a racist. You keep dodging the question: Why do you hate black joggers?

2

BioJesus555 t1_itxn8qk wrote

Oh you must be mistaken, I am not disregarding his opinion on the basis of his skin color. I would never do something like that. Making a snap decision based on the color of someone's skin is the kind of thing that John Fetterman does, not me.

I am disregarding his opinion because the person who controls his release is literally John Fetterman, that's why. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to clear up your silly confusion.

I’m not confused. You’ve demonstrated that you hate black joggers, and only listen to white people, based on this one example. You’re totally not shitposting and trolling, and clearly arguing in good faith that you hate black joggers, based on this one incident, that happened in 2013. We are all basing our entire opinions of you on this.

"I take extra measures to make myself look like a runner and make sure nothing arouses any suspicion," said Oduor, 42, who lives in the majority-White city of Lenexa and started running six years ago after he was diagnosed with prediabetes.

"I avoid residential areas and use main roads. I panic if a car is following too closely during my runs. I make sure my phone is fully charged and I can hit record anytime."

This is the kind of violence you are excusing and perpetuating. If you think black joggers should have to think like this to avoid people like John Fetterman you are part of the problem.

ScrappleOnToast t1_itxp3yi wrote

You are equating the death of Arbery with the Fetterman incident? One resulted in a death. Your dismissal of the death of a black jogger is really telling. For most of us non-psychopaths, the death of a black jogger is a tragedy…..for you it seems to be nothing more than an inaccurate data point. Gross

BioJesus555 t1_itxpebb wrote

They are very similar incidents because they both involved racists, black joggers zero provocation or initial crime, and guns.

As I clearly said earlier, thank God Fetterman didn't pull the trigger. That makes it a very different incident but it's also important we hold Fetterman accountable, at least until he apologizes and makes amends and says what he did was wrong.

And to be clear, I am sticking up for Black joggers. I think joggers of all ethnicities should feel safe jogging in their neighborhoods, so I am sticking up for them so that they can feel safe. The question is why aren't you?

It’s not clear. You’ve consistently demonstrated that you hate black joggers.
