I think it's Democrats that show up at elected officials homes to harass them typically.

Would be risky to do this at John Fetterman's home especially if the protester was an African American.

I'm glad to see that your baseless comment falsely accusing me of being a racist or harboring prejudice of any kind was deleted. What a disgusting and inappropriate personal attack.

Do you think that racism is something that should be joked about?

the dude obviously didnt get your sideways braddock reference....

BioJesus555 t1_itw6hvb wrote

That incident cannot be discussed here. It's comical they just say "you don't have the full story" and "you don't get it" and then accuse you of being a bot.

What is there to get? The man was jogging just like Ahmad Arbery was.

1

Steelplate7 t1_itwqxcl wrote

Yeah…and Arbery was killed in cold blood after being chased down in pickup trucks. The man Fetterman DETAINED was not hurt in the least.

Furthermore, Fetterman was responding to what he thought were gunshots. Not just a black guy jogging through the neighborhood and assuming wrongdoing.

3

BioJesus555 t1_itwtjsd wrote

Why was he detained with a shotgun? Are you under the impression that it’s a crime to go for a jog as a black man in this country?

Where any shell casings or evidence of gunfire found? No the Witnessed were interviewed and we learned he was frightened by fireworks for gods sake. There was no gunfire and I’m pretty sure the only one with a gun and causing trouble was FETTERMAN.

Yet here you are smearing a black man and implying he was properly detained with fake information about gunshots that never occurred.

Just gross, you realize it’s 2022, right? Black people should be able to exercise without being harassed by angry white men with shotguns.

Steelplate7 t1_itwu7f3 wrote

Lol…ok…ignore the fact that I stated “what he thought” were gunshots…

And completely ignore the Arbery thing…because that’s what Trump Humpers do.

They create their own narrative and ignore everything else…you can fuck right off now.

BioJesus555 t1_itwyht3 wrote

> the Arbery thing

See and I thought the whole point of the Black Lives Matter movement was to STOP ignoring things like what happened to Arbery and Fetterman's victim.

1

Steelplate7 t1_itx0pv5 wrote

What was the outcome of Fetterman’s incident? Nothing. Arbery…on the other hand?

You are nothing but a right wing troll.

2

BioJesus555 t1_itx6goh wrote

There are plenty of racist incidents that don't end in murder. We still shouldn't look away.

0

Steelplate7 t1_itx9g0y wrote

Sure there are…and mostly by right wing douche canoes like you.

3

BioJesus555 t1_itxfyug wrote

I'm not a racist. I've never once pulled a shotgun on black person out enjoying a jog like John Fetterman did.

−1

Steelplate7 t1_itxgb5q wrote

And once again…you refuse to distinguish the difference between Arbery and The incident in Braddock.

Fuck you. We are done here?

3

BioJesus555 t1_itxh84h wrote

The difference and the only difference is that Fetterman, thankfully never pulled the trigger.

That doesn't make it ok or acceptable.

0

ScrappleOnToast t1_itxo7k5 wrote

You forgot to mention the difference was murder. Do you not think the murder of a black man matters? Clearly not. Why don’t you think murdering black men matters? Edit: the racist who hates black joggers blocked me.

2

BioJesus555 t1_itxok9g wrote

Literally have mentioned that difference, verbatim. Thanks for failing once again to make a valid point.

ScrappleOnToast t1_itxp8tb wrote

Why do you hate black joggers? Edit: the racist who hates black joggers blocked me.

2

BioJesus555 t1_itxqrxm wrote

I think it's clear that I don't. If I saw someone pull a gun on a black jogger, I would call the police.

You would form an exploratory committee to make that man a US Senator.

0

ScrappleOnToast t1_itxr3d5 wrote

I haven’t said anything promoting Fetterman. There you go making assumptions again. Racist. Black jogger hater. Edit: the racist who hates black joggers blocked me.

2

BioJesus555 t1_itwxl4l wrote

So if you see Ted Cruz pull a shotgun on an unarmed black jogger, with zero provocation or justification, you are telling me that you would not call the police and seek consequences?

Cuz Im calling the police, whether its Ted Cruz or John Fetterman. African Americans should feel safe when they go for a job and not have to deal with the Angry White Man With a Gun (Fetterman). Why do you disagree with that?

This is not a narrative, this is reality. The man was jogging, not committing a crime. There was zero justification to pull a shotgun on the man.

Also, why are you calling me a Trump Humper ? I voted against Donald Trump 4 separate times because I felt that he was a racist and also an unqualified idiot.

Calling into question Fetterman pulling a shotgun on an innocent black jogger makes someone a Trump Humper?

ScrappleOnToast t1_itwy9vx wrote

Will you knock it off with these bad faith arguments? We get it. You like to troll. You made your point.

3

BioJesus555 t1_itx6p53 wrote

I don't think that sticking up for Black Lives and standing against prejudiced people is a bad faith argument. I recall it being a very big thing before Fetterman was nominated.

ScrappleOnToast t1_itx99y7 wrote

You know that’s not what you’re really doing. I know that’s not what you’re really doing. We all know that’s not what you’re really doing.

2

BioJesus555 t1_itxg8xc wrote

It's exactly what I am doing. I don't think black joggers should have to put up with angry white people pointing shotguns at them because they assume they are running from a crime. Why exactly is that a controversial statement, aside from the fact that you happen to support a candidate for the Senate that did exactly that?

0

ScrappleOnToast t1_itxhmo3 wrote

I dunno. Maybe that singular jogger has stated that Fetterman should be senator? (Source: https://www.inquirer.com/news/senate-john-fetterman-2013-shotgun-black-jogger-confrontation-20210401.html?outputType=amp ) Why don’t you take the opinions of black joggers seriously? Do you not think black joggers are capable of thinking for themselves? Why do you hate black joggers so much?

2

BioJesus555 t1_itxigyt wrote

What did fellow Democrat Connor Lamb have to say about this? He said Fetterman runs the parole board and holds the key to Miyares' release(for an unrelated incident from when Fetterman pulled a gun on him). In that case, even I would endorse him if I thought it would get me out of prison faster lol.

https://twitter.com/josecanyousee_/status/1517299765976870912?s=20&t=hP8eGidLT-482LmoNIma5g

Did you forget about this in the Democratic primary debate?

Lamb would be up 15% and instead you have to defend a racist who can barely function... that's what you are actually upset about, you're not upset with me.

0

ScrappleOnToast t1_itxltz5 wrote

So you put more faith in the word of a white man (lamb) then a black jogger. Why do you hate black joggers?

(This is how ridiculous you sound)

2

BioJesus555 t1_itxm52o wrote

Even Malcolm Kenyatta called on him to apologize. And don't tell me he endorsed him to, we all know how politics works.

At the end of the day you think it's acceptable to pull shotguns on innocent joggers and I think it's wrong and a crime. Call me crazy.

This is how ridiculous you sound.

0

ScrappleOnToast t1_itxmakw wrote

So you completely dismiss the thoughts of a black jogger. Got it. Racist.

2

BioJesus555 t1_itxmkic wrote

You think disagreeing with a black person makes you a racist? Again we know Fetterman runs the parole board.

Man you are really desperate to defend this man's racist actions, you must really hate black joggers to want this man in the Senate.

0

ScrappleOnToast t1_itxmy6e wrote

No. Completely disregarding them because they are black makes you a racist. If concluding that Fetterman stopped him because he was black makes Fetterman a racist, it’s easy to conclude that you disregarding their opinion because they’re black makes you a racist. You keep dodging the question: Why do you hate black joggers?

2

BioJesus555 t1_itxn8qk wrote

Oh you must be mistaken, I am not disregarding his opinion on the basis of his skin color. I would never do something like that. Making a snap decision based on the color of someone's skin is the kind of thing that John Fetterman does, not me.

I am disregarding his opinion because the person who controls his release is literally John Fetterman, that's why. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to clear up your silly confusion.

ScrappleOnToast t1_itxnvnt wrote

I’m not confused. You’ve demonstrated that you hate black joggers, and only listen to white people, based on this one example. You’re totally not shitposting and trolling, and clearly arguing in good faith that you hate black joggers, based on this one incident, that happened in 2013. We are all basing our entire opinions of you on this.

"I take extra measures to make myself look like a runner and make sure nothing arouses any suspicion," said Oduor, 42, who lives in the majority-White city of Lenexa and started running six years ago after he was diagnosed with prediabetes.

"I avoid residential areas and use main roads. I panic if a car is following too closely during my runs. I make sure my phone is fully charged and I can hit record anytime."

https://www.cnn.com/2021/02/27/us/black-runners-ahmaud-arbery-death-wellness-trnd/index.htm

This is the kind of violence you are excusing and perpetuating. If you think black joggers should have to think like this to avoid people like John Fetterman you are part of the problem.

ScrappleOnToast t1_itxp3yi wrote

You are equating the death of Arbery with the Fetterman incident? One resulted in a death. Your dismissal of the death of a black jogger is really telling. For most of us non-psychopaths, the death of a black jogger is a tragedy…..for you it seems to be nothing more than an inaccurate data point. Gross

2

BioJesus555 t1_itxpebb wrote

They are very similar incidents because they both involved racists, black joggers zero provocation or initial crime, and guns.

As I clearly said earlier, thank God Fetterman didn't pull the trigger. That makes it a very different incident but it's also important we hold Fetterman accountable, at least until he apologizes and makes amends and says what he did was wrong.

0

BioJesus555 t1_itxnhsm wrote

And to be clear, I am sticking up for Black joggers. I think joggers of all ethnicities should feel safe jogging in their neighborhoods, so I am sticking up for them so that they can feel safe. The question is why aren't you?

0

ScrappleOnToast t1_itxo0sc wrote

It’s not clear. You’ve consistently demonstrated that you hate black joggers.

squintytoast t1_itw72jz wrote

the incident is long over. nothing happend. the dude even endorsed fetterman for Lt. Gov. its a non issue.

1

BioJesus555 t1_itw8mtd wrote

I can see how someone who isn't concerned with the lives of black people deciding it's a non issue. I think when people acting as law enforcement pull shotguns on innocent people and falsely accuse them of crimes they should face consequences. That's the only way things improve is if people are held accountable.

Fetterman said he didn't do anything wrong, obviously he did. This is just another case of "Fetterman can do no wrong". He's not even healthy enough to be a Senator.

If we found out Fetterman was literally a serial killer, this subreddit would still be backing him.

squintytoast t1_itwcztp wrote

holy hyperbolic horseshit, batman!!

spare me the 'someone who isnt concerned with the lives of black people' virtue signaling crap. the 'issue' was settled long ago. what further is there 'to account for'?

here is just a smidge of an outline of it - https://www.inquirer.com/news/senate-john-fetterman-2013-shotgun-black-jogger-confrontation-20210401.html

haha no. not even close. anyone who brings it up is just shit disturbing to make it stink more.

> He's not even healthy enough to be a Senator.

you ever know anyone that survived a stroke? speech impediments dont mean he's gone stupid or unable to have linear, complex, nuanced thoughts and actions. you any good at public 'debates'? im not.

i would vote for a moldy piece of bread or even a damn ficus tree over dipshit oz.
