Random, but do you have an idea of how long it takes after sending your ballot in that they process it? It's been weeks since I mailed mine back and the registration site still hasn't updated they received it.
Time-U-1 t1_it498bc wrote
You mailed it “weeks” ago? When did you receive a ballot?
compulov t1_it4afv6 wrote
We got ours in Bucks a week or two ago.
GratefulHead420 t1_it4eqq6 wrote
Most drop boxes aren’t even accepting them until Monday 10/24, so probably won’t hear until after that.

Take it to the post office

Early October. Completed it and mailed it out immediately. Usually, I see it as accepted pretty quickly, but not this time. I want to make sure my vote gets in.
compulov t1_it4a0il wrote
I feel like they process them in batches, and sometimes they may let them sit around before they mark them as received.

I sent my ballot in I got a a verification by email within 48 hours and my vote was counted so I really don't believe what you're saying

It will depend on your County. They won't "process" it by removing it from the return envelope until after polls close on Election Day. I got confirmation that my ballot was received in Philadelphia in about 3 business days.
Best thing to do first is call your County office and ask what their procedure is and if they can confirm it.

Why the fuck would you post a picture of an email instead of just posting the link?

This page isn’t always accurate unfortunately. It says pending for me and I’ve already returned my ballot.

Mine was approved 8/29 still hasn’t been mailed yet. I’m on business in FL and requested it early august now I’m afraid I’m not going to get it in time.

I was in the same boat but in California. Approved in late August but took really long to deliver. I just got it last week, so have hope.

I’m in PA and just got mine on Monday. You should get an email saying the ballot is on its way to you.
chaqalaqalaqa t1_it4kdyp wrote
Eh I didn’t get any email. The website says pending still but I’ve already received and returned it.

Unless you don’t got a drivers license, in which case they’ll make it the hardest process ever (and they still denied me)

Early voting is already underway. I was in the county building for another reason and many people were there to vote.

Helping people know how/when to vote is "political shitposting"?

Agree. It's almost all I ever see and/or interact with on this sub. There's very few posts here not trying to spoon feed you some kind of political slander, ideology, or projection of social elitism. I have to resort to Nextdoor *shudder* for actual happenings in our state. And even then that's filled with a bunch of NIMBYs and Karens. On one platform you have a bunch of out of touch projectionists and on the other you have a bunch of regressive freaks. Pick your poison I guess?

Keep feeding the Republicans office positions bud. Less voting favors Republicans.

This ain’t about parties. They won’t ever agree, so we wont ever agree. I see no point no matter who I vote for and what party I vote for.
MegaGrubby t1_it71l83 wrote
Keep thinking it doesn't matter when in fact it does. You're a perfect example showing why this country's premiere international reputation was ruined in less than four years. The number of thinkers in this country is declining and it shows in who takes office. Care, think, vote and this country gets better.
edit: There's a bunch of manipulation via social media and advertising occurring. They want chaos. They don't want you to care. All they want is power in any which way. So give up and give them what they want. When things get even worse they will love you for it.

I just wanted to say how great the Department of State has been in communications during election season. It's comforting to get the emails when the ballot has been mailed and when it's been received (always worry a little bit about the USPS losing them).
