This is the part that is amazing to me. Up in that area there are acres upon acres of abandoned/old mining areas. The fact that those people were in that specific area to find those remains is something out of a movie.

Its a shame her parents died never getting closure. But at least now the rest of the family can get it and she can be put to rest.

Remains identified as those of 14-year-old girl who went missing in 1969. Pennsylvania police say the investigation "remains very active."
