Fellow Pennsylvanians: Let's make this dum-dum cry. Support Gov Shapiro's proposal to make cannabis available to every Pennsylvanian 21 years or older.

The Pennsylvania Family Institute he's the communications director for is just a cookie cutter far right religious activist organization.

Under their "issues" listings you can find

  • anti-abortion listed as "life"

  • anti-gay listed as "family"

  • anti-trans listed as "culture"

  • anti-gay and anti-trans listed as "religious freedom"

Why are the left so terrible at branding. “Speak truth to power” is so lame. Pro-Choice could be “hey, get yours girl” or whatever. It’s like their not even trying 😵‍💫

Weren't they just proposing selling it in the State stores? That ends the whole 'think of the children' argument right there.

Because buying it illegally, like many of them do, won't harm their lives?

It’s always the children. They get better weed than I do now.😂 You can’t expect society to protect your children. You have to be a parent and do it yourself. I have 3 daughters that don’t drink, don’t use drugs and aren’t boy crazy. It’s called raising them right. I need it for my arthritis, but I think it’s better than alcohol anyway. Marijuana doesn’t give you cirrhosis, diabetes or any of the health problems alcohol does, but alcohol is legal and marijuana isn’t. That’s just stupid.

Having people raise their own children and impart values to them? You're talking crazy talk.

BitchyWitchy68 t1_jcomvx4 wrote

Isn’t that the truth. The same people that scream about freedom want the government to tell them how to raise their children, and everyone else. If they’d quit focusing on how to discipline their children and talk to them AND actually listen to them. They might not have to worry so much about what’s going on in school and what other people are doing.

Yea, they basically want to impart their own values onto other people's children. Don't really care for the kids at all.
