Do Not bring your dogs. Way too hot. Most surfaces are macadam, the rest is either gravel or ground. Nearest emergency vets are in Shillington or Quakertown.

Source- I'm a Kutztown resident, I walk my dog through the Fairgrounds but will not walk there in the blazing summer.

Nothing but pop ups

Somehow the paywall seems appropriate for this overpriced garbage. Once upon a time it was a nice festival but now it's expensive to get in to buy overpriced food and drinks while shopping for overpriced crap that is more likely made in China than Berks County.

I had a quick question about the plain people one time, so asked a Mennonite guy. He laughed, said "Dude! I'm just dressed up like this for the festival! Don't know nothing about Mennonite!".

Check out the website. Prices, vendors, trivia and such.

Always nice to see the quilts, Claypooles hex signs and watch the shows. Maybe get some souse.
