It's nominating petition season! In general, I will sign any petition, since I think there should not be barriers to running for office. But what about signing multiple petitions for the same office? What if there are two people I could stand for, say, mayor? Can I sign a petition for each of them?

You can sign if there are multiple seats on the ballot. Example, if there are 3 school board seats, you can sign for 3 school board candidates. If there’s only one, you can only sign one petition.
