Chester county is expense and so are most of the surrounding areas around Exton. With that said, with $3600 take home, you won’t be on the streets. A lot would come down to the lifestyle you want for you and your dogs. Are you fine with a pet friendly apartment? You can swing it. Want easy access to a yard and walking distance to activities, will be tougher to make that work.

I agree in general, but can't imagine anywhere in Exton that could be considered "walking distance" to much. It's great if you have a car.

I’m definitely avoiding the suburbs and most city areas if I can, I’d frankly be ok with a large-ish 1 bed and bath place that allows pets and maybe a yard big enough to use as a poop area. I try to spend as little time at home with my dogs bc they like to be active outside the yard anyway

In Exton the minimum for a one bedroom apartment is about 1400 a month. I know this because I live here. The surrounding areas are pretty comparable.

in coatesville, they’re putting up what seems like condos not even a mile from harry’s hot dogs and they start at $1.6k 😳

Chester county is very expensive on the whole. I’m the surround areas 1 bedrooms can be anywhere from 1-2k a month. Don’t want to scare you off but this area is pricey

Don’t worry about scaring me, I just looked up the average income and it’s $30/ and hour, with the low being $26. I’ve pitched to the company that contacted me for $27 and I’ll see how that goes.
