LOL, moe to Florida fascist. Or Bama, that's more your speed.

For others reading this moronic screed...nuke plants don't emit smoke, its water vapor, from the heated water. We've lived down wind of Limerick NPP since June 2000, you can see the vapor plume on most clear days. I actually know people that live in a very expensive development right in the shadow of the two towers. I've coached kids in lacrosse in fields located less than 1/4 of a mile away. Lots of farms (corn, wheat, dairy) all around here. Oddly enough there are no 3-eyed fish in our streams or double headed deer roaming around. In fact, the biggest health threat around here was about 15-20 years ago when two separate tubing plants, fortunately both down wind of us, were illegally emitting carcinogens. Turns out, surprise surprise, the owners were both big Republican donors. GWB even made a campaign stop at one of them. There is the tyranny the OP is looking for.

As for the terrorism threat. Nothing is 100% safe but each nuke power plant has its own security force. I was actually recruited by one of them when I was getting out of the Army. And I'll let structural design engineers speak to this but the towers are designed to withstand an impact from a 747.

In regards to safety, there have been 3 major nuclear power plant incidents since 1979...3MI, which was an equipment failure, Chernobyl was caused by human error, and Fukishima was an earthquake. 3MI has no confirmed death or health incidents related to it, Fukishima has had one, and Chernobyl 31. Now consider the cumulative cost of lives from the pollutants emitted from the fossil fuel industry, the cumulative illnesses, the cumulative ecological disasters, and so on.

The OP is grossly misinformed on nuke power, or (could be both) an open vessel for disinformation, or is purposely trying to spread disinformation.

Anyway, move to Florida bud, you're people are there and awaiting you.
