Actually, Jeeps used to be great vehicles. Then Chrysler bought them.

AMC got every penny they could out of those old Kaiser FSJ designs, then Chrysler limped them along even further.

Yes, AMC bought them. An AMC might have gone out of business, but it would have been better to let the Jeep name die than to subject it to what Chrysler has done to it.
