I started writing basic on one and then spent 30+ years in dev. Not a bad career choice IMO.

I actually measured my old CRT because my work had a fancy meter, and it was way below any recomended values.

I remember playing Archon (Chess), River Raid, & Up & Down on the 8bit Atari. Such a long time ago now.

I had an 800 I believe with a separate floppy drive.

Yeah, it was more a thing our parents would tell us - “don’t sit too close to the TV or you’ll ruin your eyes”.

I don’t think there was any truth to the idea.
