I remember this blizzard as well. I was in central Minnesota at the time.

I remember that winter we got snow almost up to the top of the front door, right outside of Washington DC. School was closed for weeks!

This is Massachusetts. I was 7 at the time.

I came home from skiing one saturday that winter and my dad and uncle had built a snow house just like this and they had gotten pretty drunk and they just pelted my brother and i with snowballs. Good times. I remember it very fondly.

I was in Dracut Massachusetts for that storm. Had just gotten home from North Carolina on leave from the Coast Guard.

Yep! My dad and uncles threw me, my sister, and my cousins into the snow house and wrecked it. We also jumped out the living room window into a snow drift.
