I do believe I went to Pike Lake State Park a few times as a kid in Ohio, so I may have traveled through Sinking Spring, although I don't remember it.
I looked up Puckett's history, he's an interesting character. It looks like he opened for a lot of country music acts over the years.

Dayne was 82. He spent 30 years as the sales manager for a band known as, The Van Dells. He toured with a few famous names including: Jerry Lee Lewis, Merle Haggard, Dolly Parton, Reba, and Charlie Pride. He had appeared on the Hee Haw show, where the saluted his home town of what he declared was a population of 202 at the time. He knees everybody.
He spent his final years coaching Freshman basketball. He will be missed in the community.
He had taken Dolly to have a chicken noodle dinner with his mother. He asked Dolly for this picture before they left because she would probably never be back to the small town again.
