Thanks. It wasn’t an arranged marriage, actually, but a love one. Rare and unorthodox in Bangladesh, where this photo was taken. They married without family approval. Sadly he turned out to be a garbage person. You can’t win em all!

Hey thanks for pointing that out. I’m well aware. These photos, however, were shot on black and white film. They were in a rural part of a then still developing country and did the best they could.

I don't know what it is, but I find the bridal aesthetic in Indian weddings to be among the most beautiful in general.
