Is Ronald Reagans picture supposed to be ironic, or were you a young Republican?

I was not a young Republican. My Dad was an immigrant and worked in the coal mines for 13 years so I was kind of young and skeptical. There was always an imminant threat of nuclear war at that point so that was likely my main concern. I wasn't a huge critic and in retrospect a lot was accomplished through "peace through strength".

OK... question from north of the border. Why the Canadian flag? Nice to see it whatever the reason.

I had a cousin that lived in Burlington Ontario and I had just spent the summer of 86' with her. My Dad immigrated to the US and his brother immigrated to Canada. They were both coal miners. My cousin ended up marrying my best friend and now lives here in the Bay Area.

In the summer of 82' I worked at Marriot's Great America in the games dept. I was very good at winning stuffed animals and would normally give them away. I saved a couple which I ended up giving to my kids.

Not sure what's worse, the shorts or the Reagen poster.

One outta two ain’t bad. What’s JM doing in what appears as a catchers squat? If the pic showed Juan in his definitive pitching pose, it would have been a sure giveaway. I saw both those guys on the field back in the day.

I was working at an Italian market/deli for the original owner who had it for about 38 years. I ended up owning and working there for 27 years and sold it in 2008. I'm still in San Jose.
